Thomas Jefferson said, “I am a great believer in luck, and I find that the harder I work, the more I have of it.”
I totally agree.
It’s also been said that luck is where preparation meets opportunity.
But luck is also a state of mind. It’s the gratitude that you have for the things in your life that can make you feel like the luckiest person in the world.
This week, we asked some of our athletes to fill out a shamrock stating why they were lucky. Their answers weren’t focused on winning but on being grateful for the things they have in their lives.
And I am lucky that I get to have incredible kids like this in my club everyday.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
